This is perhaps the most famous of the Norwegian stave churches. It was built in the late 12th century, which is amazing. has some indoor shots also.

It reminds me of a primitive Japanese pagoda or shrine. It has a bit of a barbaric look to it - interesting.

This is so unusual, I've never seen anything like it, that's what's nice about these architecture pics, it's another form of art. I think it would be interesting to see the inside too.
