first comment is correct on the building numbers, but this view is actually of #1 looking east from the west side highway. the awning on the left of the photo was a car drop off / pick up right on west street. i used to work in tower 1 and spent many a late night waiting under that awning for car service. marriott hotel would be directly to the right of this shot.
Small point: the main buildings are #1 (north) and #2: south. WTC building #3 was the Marriott Hotel. This is either: 1) looking west with building #2 in front, or looking east with building #1 in front. I think it is an early shot of the buildings looking west.
