That's strange how the picture goes strange as your desktop. Wonder how that could be fixed ?

Oops, that was supposed to be with, not yours... :(

thanks everyone, but I did make it full size for my desktop and that's when the birds nose stretched out maybe I can copy it to show you...it was actually kinda funny, but when I make it full size on here it does not do that...it's a beautiful pic anyway.

No, I didn't do that before Jujuba taught us how to stretch and skew. I'm not too sure how that goes with me being able to post big photos without them coming out as a black void but yours doing that. Maybe someone here can shed some light there. I have sometimes tried to post some photos here to Pixdaus, but then gotten a message to tell me that the picture is too big to upload... :(

Thankyou, A simple task. I will remember that for the next time this problem comes up... :)

You said "...like Jujuba taught us"; so I assumed you meant that you didn't that before she told us. What I don't understand is that you are able to post big photos and they don't come out as a black void. I have to edit all photos that are over 815 x 815...approx

Ladies, all you have to do is to re-crop the photo to the same proportions as your computer screen and then make it your desktop image. It is a simple task, all computer screens, as far as I know, use a landscape format, so it is impossible for a photo like this (in basically a portrait format) to make a decent desktop image unless it is re-cropped.

Actually no, Connie. At least not with this picture anyway. It's great that Flickr has that part where it gives you the options of different sizes when choosing the photo. That is what helps me with the sizes...

That didn't happen to me when I went to full size. PG - Sounds like Jujuba helped you also re stretch and skew ;-)

That's abit on the nose (if you'll pardon the pun)... :( I'm so sorry that you couldn't make this as your desktop. Maybe you could stretch and skew the picture, like Jujuba taught us to do. Maybe too, you could go to this link and get the size you need from there. Hope that will help....

Many thanks, Poppy. So glad you like it... :)

This is so pretty Mary, it looks so spring/like I even tried to make it my desktop, but for some reason it stretched the birds nose out when it went full size :)

Absolutely marvie!
