Since you did not provide any links to where you obtained this information it will take awhile for me to prepare a proper response. And until I can locate your sources to see for myself I will assume your numbers are indeed baloney. After Al Gore won, the Nobel has kind of lost it's luster.

Thanks..good to be back home...the DeMint ammendment to the stimulus bill, submitted by Jim DeMint, a Repub. from South Carolina, would have stripped most of the provisions of the bill and replaced it with tax cuts that would have cost a little over three trillion dollars over the next ten years..that's FOUR TIMES as much as the Obama stimulus package and it was supported by 36 of the 41 senate Republicans, including John McCain, the self-proclaimed opponent of "generational theft"....Republicans and neocons also hollered that the stimulus package was "Full of Pork !!!"....in fact, the much-maligned 'ear-marks' amounted to less than 2% of the total package, and almost half of them were proposed and placed in the budget by Republicans..just more examples of Republican hypocrisy...they enthusiastically suppported the Bush tax cuts that cost at least $2 trillion, and the war in Iraq, which cost at least $1 trillion....the stimulius bill, by comparison, is a much smaller burden....the best analysis of the effects, defects and virtues of the Stimulus Bill is probably by Paul Krugman, who won the Nobel Prize in economics in '08, and who is a professor of Economics at Princeton..of course, we all know what a hot-bed of radical leftists Princeton is....

Run for cover! Incoming ammo!

Eight years of war with tax brakes for big oil are both very good business models. Lobbying hard to keep things as they were is also fine wisdom. Ammo and hand gun companies are doing a staler business which is wonderful. Silly hippy types and their gay liberal friends just don't know what's in for them, do they.

Welcome back. The second stringers tried to fill in for you while you were gone but failed miserably. Show us where that three trillion came from. Also, I have more vids. from Reason.com to show who's already paying most of the taxes. And if they are over taxed or loose interest in making money we'll all loose. Go to the second vid at the link. Again, Welcome Back

What Republicans DON'T tell you is that the tax cuts they proposed and supported for themselves and their wealthy friends would have cost over $3 trillion ....that's THREE TRILLION bucks....Trillion, with a T...
