Nah, you can't convert a Roman Catholic; we have the true religion. We're the only ones who will go to heaven ;-)

Boy, you keep bring up my Christianity. Want to convert? Should I send a beginner Bible. Patito? Don't where my buddy went. Wife #3 possibly. Poppy? No telling where she is off to. I hope she and Patito are not sick or worse. All we can do is keep them in our prayers.

Someone a while back commented that the site originates from Russia...that's all I know.
2009-05-24 14:04:15
Nobody would accuse you of being a weirdo...even if you're a born-again christian ;-) By and by, what's with Patito. He took a holiday to go meandering down some stream, then he disappears again. Poppy is also nowhere around. Do you think they escaped together? Patito may have gotten tired of wife #3 ;-)

I read somewhere that Pixdaus translates to something rude. There's so little information about this site. I did a Google search and found that comment in a forum. Who knows??? I don't care.

My ears were burning. Somebody here talking about weirdos?
2009-05-24 11:34:17
Yes, I did read it, and will use it on my French speaking friends ;-)
2009-05-24 02:36:00
Did you read, just up, my answer about the term "engueulade". A very usual (bad) word you have to add at/to your own French dictionary ;-)
2009-05-24 01:53:25
Ca veux dire une personne/des personnes sont etrange. Les choses sont 'weird'; les personnes sont 'weirdos'.
2009-05-23 22:03:20
In your turn : today, you used the word " weirdos". What does it mean ?
2009-05-23 21:54:47
Connie, I made a mistake : my answer to your comment is here, just up your own comment.

About the word "enguelade" : it is a very familiar (bad) word. But I like it because of its root : " gueule" meaning the mouth of animals. It will be difficult for me to give you all the fineness/subtility of the different/many ways/expressions we have containing this word "gueule" : For example : - Ítre une fine gueule : to like/love very fine/delicious/rare food - pousser une gueulante : to speak very highly and angry(ly?) - faire la gueule : to show at everybody a very bad face/visage. Often little children make like that. - and many others expressions... Each time you hear a French word including "gueule", think about/translate "mouth of animals". For me, it is most often funny ;-) - "engueulade" ? My dictionary says : " To abuse, slang, jaw ; to give a blowing up. " Yes, I meant "human race".
2009-05-23 18:26:59
Je ne sais pas ca que engueulade veux dire. Peut-etre une comedie? I think you are saying that we are all the same people...belonging to the same human race, regardless of what language we speak or what culture we belong to. I agree.
2009-05-23 15:33:58
C'est une engueulade ? ;-) I mean "foreign" of the English language. Only. Elsewhere, I am, you are, he/she is human people : We are both/all/together belonging at/to human people. With a particularity, here, all lovers of nature and beauty. Do you agree ? ;-)
2009-05-23 13:12:49
What you do you mean by foreign? You are no more foreign than I am or anyone else on this site. This is a multilingual site and thus we are all the same - no one is foreign here ;-)
2009-05-23 13:11:22
Hmmmm is hard to explain in writing. It means a person is thinking or some such. It's similar to ;-) for smiling.
2009-05-23 04:54:17
On the first/your answer : "...hmmm". What do you mean by this " ... hmmm" Can you translate it for foreign people like I am/belong?

Thanks!

"Vertical mural" is a good way to put it. ;)
2009-05-22 04:02:44
Hooray!! That's a long pic.
