Thank you poppy...I'm very fond of english gardens, cottages and estates. I'm going to google Capability Brown now, that ought to keep me out of trouble for awhile lol. I do not feel I have a turf, if someone can something and run with it Yah! I still get to see what they came up with. There are so many amazing photos on this site

Lovely picture, Willya! Have you looked into historic houses, gardens and landscapes of England? The Internet has a wealth of sites about them. I am sure you’ve heard of Lancelot Brown (1716-1783), better known as Capability Brown, the most famous English landscape architect? His ‘handiwork’ is still very prominent also. I am most fond of cottage gardens as they are more informal. Just by doing a Google picture search with ‘cottage garden’ gave me 1.5 million pics! I know I am telling this to the ‘whole world’ but I don’t think other posters will infringe on your turf on this one as I have not seen many gardens here, apart from the ones you have posted. I'll now post you one cottage garden pic as an example.
