I think your computer is doing it on purpose, so I'm left wondering what x:D means. I can't even type the arrow, because that key is being used for my French 'accents', so I used an x instead.

I am not good at geography - I couldn't even tell you what the name of street is at the end of the one I live on - I could show you how to get here but I couldn't give you directions other than to turn at certain landmarks or at the top of the hill or left or right at the bend

It was real alright. Vancouverites are going to remember that fog for many years to come. We had never seen it that thick and that low. The little hump to the right is Bowen Island. Some friends used to live there and commute to downtown Vancouver for work via a little ferry and then the bus. The building that shines like gold has a revolving restaurant and lounge on top. It's definitely on my list to take my out-of-town guest for drinks (restaurant food is not very good). It takes an hour to revolve. The best time to go is before the sun sets to see the various islands, Coastal and North Shore mountains, etc., then the sunset on the water and the lights on the surrounding mountains (for skiing and dining) etc are lovely to see. What's in front is the Lions Gate Bridge to commute between downtown Vancouver and North & West Vancouver (north shore).

Now, I feel silly. I'm pretty good at geography too...one of my favourite subjects at school. We don't often get this thick a fog; this one happened last winter 2008 and it lasted a long time. On average, the best time to visit Vancouver is the last week of July and August. What does 'O' and 'P' mean? I'm old don't ya know...I don't understanding computer lingo. Someone on Pixdaus had to tell me how to make a smiley ;-) Can you tell what part of the States you live?
2010-03-14 17:48:50
You got that right, Jujuba !
2010-03-14 15:47:57
yeah I know ;-) anyways, this fog is so thick it doesnt look real :-O
2010-03-14 14:13:55
Maybe you should've written, 'Where's the city gone ?". then there's no confusion... :)
2010-03-14 14:05:32
He he he Connie Connie :P Not wanting to show off, but Im great at worldwide geography :D I was actually asking where the city was (the buildings, the streest) since one cant see anything :P Btw, Vancouver is one of the places Id love to visit :-)
2010-03-14 13:23:31
