The photograph was taken from the street looking at the window of the barbershop. The reflection isn't behind the barber because the glass that is reflecting the street scene is between the camera and the barber. No worries on the rest, though, we can all learn to be more considerate, I know it wouldn't hurt me to try...

I do not agree that it is not flipped. The sign is not a reflection, for were it it would have to be behind the barber. That implies that there are windows on either side of the barber and the sign is the only piece that is reflecting. That is hard to believe. If this is your photograph, then of course I relent. Perhaps you are right, I am commenting on other's taste. Judging from the voting, I'm offending more than just you. I will find more tact or keep my opinions to myself.

This image isn't flipped horizontally, the sign is reversed because it is a reflection in the window of the barber shop, which explains most of the other pleasant aesthetic qualities that you apparently missed when you viewed this image... To the rest, this isn't a photography class. As you are actually commenting on the taste of others, not on their ability or their technical skill, I think you could be less terse and more tactful in the wording of your critical opinions.

Image has been obviously flipped horizontally - look at the sign, surrealist overtones by consistent exposure - means you can not focus on either one, extraneous people in the background are distracting, top of barber's head cropped off, foreground image shot too close - makes it dominate.
