Patito - I despair of you...do try to come up with your own original comments and not others. I just used the word 'convent' now you use it. Someone used the word 'egotistical' on me, and right after you use it on me. You could have replaced those words with nunnery and self-centred. Be creative cowboy.
Patito - jchip8 has consistently re-posted, and sometimes within minutes and hours after the original poster. He/she even re-posted one of my uploads about 15 minutes after I did, but not before removing the writing that was on the bottom right. As I watched his/her 'version' of the photo shot up, whereas my 'version' shot down - so down that it went to oblivion. That was done to other posters.
This may come as a shock to you, Brother B, but I don't give a flyin' rat's patootie about my image. What I care about are photographs, and Jchip has posted more and better photos than most of the other posters here, and has done so consistently, year after year, without getting drawn into the petty bickering here in the comment section. For that I admire both her wisdom and her restraint.

Patito, everytime I start thinking that perhaps you are not so bad and that you actually have a sense of humour, you pull something like this.
You need to work on improving your image a bit.
Jchip has posted almost 8,000 photos on this website, most of them pretty good. All of you peckerwoods and shitepokes who are badmouthing her could get rolled up into one great gamey lump and you wouldn't amount to a pimple on Jchip's butt.
And Poppatito..go diddle your goat !
Don't you love the way that jchip8 uploads these photos with absolutely no information at all; and usually not even a caption line? Does he/she not know anything about this, or just not care?
The mountains and lake may be in Grand Teton, but certainly not the flowers. My guess is that they were pasted over the Grand Teton photo as a separate layer. These are not alpine flowers and their are no flowers like this in view of the Grand Tetons and probably nowhere in the state of Wyoming.
I also posted this photo many months ago when I was known back then as Mary172. Here is the link to it.
It only received 79 votes. At the time, I thought that the flowers really grew there, but since reading that they might of been added later, now I am unsure what is really going on here. To me, it's still a very pretty picture, but at the same time, I've never seen any other pictures of the place with the flowers all around it as in this picture....

This photo is contrived, syrupy, sentimental, and reminds me of the pictures on the kitchen calenders my grandmother used to get every year from the local funeral home. It's vote count tells you all you need to know about the correlation between photographic excellence and popularity.
According to Tin Eye this image has been posted on the web 278 times, and their count is probably short of the actual number.
It has looked phony to me from the git-go..the flowers just don't look like any alpine meadows I've ever seen..more like a domestic garden..
