I like the way the chap in the bottom left with the cap hasn't really changed from Victorian times to the present day.....

It's not Seurat. It's Gustav Caillebotte's "Paris Street; Rainy Day." But it is a nice touch.

The word 'may' is a modal verb, used in this case to ask permission (presumably you'd be asking the permission of the owner of this image, which IS NOT jchip8), and the definition of the word 'steal' is to take another's property without permission, so... No, I don't think there is any possible way that you can 'get permission' to 'take this property without permission,' Scientist.

I would have liked the photo better without having the painting as well - just leaving to viewers to spot that it was a recreation (and not encouraging people to spot the differences).

LW good point...don't seem like a natural running stance.

Haven't you heard people say that children are little monkeys?

2008-05-04 11:34:29

2008-04-16 00:24:42

2008-04-09 03:12:46

Life imitating art. That's vaguely familiar...

The drawing looks like a drawing in the Gigi(1958)movie.

I like it! It must have taken some time to set up all the participants, and especially the dog in the right place. No doubt a piece of meat for the latter.

Neat! I like that one :)
