Sorry, but you are completely wrong. Some information about the pictures is welcomed by many. If you are not interested in the information simply ignore it.

I support the concern of the author completely. When I asked for the details of some pictures I received several insolent remarks.

It is more of an interesting photo if we were to know the name or place.

That's actually a good point, Noname..and especially so with the generic, postcard stuff that we wade through between the great shots that keep us coming waterfall blends into the next..a palm tree leaning over a white beach could be anywhere....but there are times when I'd like more information..the names of birds, for example...and some cityscapes...but in the best photographic art it's the formal qualities of the image that matter...content may be relevant, but it's secondary..

For more pleasure of your pics, the very address: Cohise !!! Remark: for a greater enjoy, adjust the tab “Don’t show downvoted below” on -29. You’ll find it easily: it’s on top of the right side. At your service ! By the way: why is there no title or description under this picture ?

Could not say it better myself.

Thanks for making this statement firmly. I love this site, but it is so frustrating to look for pictures that an uploader has failed to supply with sufficent tags. Frequently a beautiful shot is devalued for lack of the information that would identify it. We use lables and names for everything: Why not here?
