Well, those lines could be avalanche fences. I know that in the Alps its common practice to put rows of fences on avalanche-prone slopes if there are things below that needs protecting.
It's Fuji, as described in the tag. I believe that is a trail. I went up Fuji some years ago and they had a trail which zig-zagged like that. Took forever to make the ascent.
Also, what appears to be a series of switch-backs on the left side..some kind of trail I'd guess..and those things on the right could be some kind of pylons ( or ?)supporting a lift or a tram ?
