Good riddance to Hampton Court, it's just swallowing oodles of money from the Government coffers, but the Scots should have kept Eilean Donan... it's a real shame to lose something so wonderful.

Yes..too bad about what happened to it..was bought by an engineering and development firm from Singapore, who took it apart, numbered all the pieces, and moved it to Dubai where it was re-assembled....I understand they're presently making a bid to do the same with Hampton Court, which is really a grim old pile, and the Brits will be well shed of it.....

Pretty sure that's Eilean's on an island ( eilean is 'island' in Gaelic ) in a loch in the Western Highlands of Scotland..
