Filling a phone booth to see how many could fit in and 'cruising' were the 'in-things' to do in the late 1950s, early 60s. It was harmless fun. It beats doing drugs, hanging out looking for trouble, AND using the 'F' word, which I see a lot on Pixdaus comments.
