Thanks for pointing that out Coy,,,I did miss the starling. you know I read that thatched roofs were popular in many places like africa, japan, even the indians used them, because the materials were easy to get, but now I think it must be a luxury. I really like the looks of them anyway, and I agree with you about the azaleas, great colors in those japanese gardens!

This is a stunning photo skip. Those large old azaleas are beautiful. I do not remember seeing a thatched roof on a japanese building. I am probably worng about that. Really nice photo...
