this might be a dumb question.... but could this have been done with film by leaving the exposure, or does that produce a completly different effect? Im pretty new with film, but i understand the photoshop stuff. this pic was really cool!

Maybe I'm missing something Darce - how is this picture demonstrating the Clone tool in PS? With Clone, you get *identical* copies of what you start with. Take a look at each "snap" of the hummingbird - they're all different (different wing extension, angle, etc.). Granted, the pastes do have a JPEGgy look to them, but the intent of this picture was to show the progression of the hummingbird flying up to the feeder. Works for me!

This could have been so much better if you'd simply pasted the bird instead of doing such shocking cloning. A real pity
