Thanks, Cocoam, I too found that when I saved it I got the whole magnificent picture.

Thank you, Art Lover, for providing the information. I Googled Robert Bateman and chose the site where I read his biography and viewed his art - many of which just leave me...well, speechless. Beauty in nature to make your jaw drop is one thing, but to know that someone out there can inspire the same through art is truly a blessing from God. As an artist who loves realism, I will now aspire to his level not just as a technichian, but as an emoter. Gabrielle, I had the same problem with cut-off, so I went back on the pic and right clicked to 'save as' and that worked fine indeed. Makes a fabulous wallpaper.

I 100% agree with you Gabrielle...especially since Robert Bateman is Canadian who lives on Saltspring Island, British Columbia ;-)

Robert Bateman's work is truly astonishing and it is a pity that in uploading this the second bird's head was cut out of the pic. a pity also that Bateman received no acknowledgement in the header or tag.

This is already a painting - It is by Robert Bateman - It is called 'At The Nest' and they are secretary birds.

I think this is a wonderful photo, but is it of birds in nature or is it art media? I'm an artist and would love to do a painting, but need more info for research. What are these birds - I think they're awsome!
