New movie coming soon!! ATTACK OF THE KILLER PEBBLES!! ....or was that potatoes :)

Yeah, instead of leaving them in their environment safe and secure with others like them, Poppy torn them away from everything that they had ever known, everything that was familiar to them. She covered them with chemicals that prevented them from breathing properly and that destroyed their innards. They slowly ever so slowly suffocated. On their last breath, they said in unison 'Poppy, we're gonna get ya - somewhere somehow, we're gonna get ya'.

How right you are! Why didn't I think of it? It's 2 o'clock in the morning, so I'm kinda slow, I guess.

That would be the beauty of it -Think of the high replacement factor.

Nah, painting on potatoes would not work. They'd just get eaten.

If the potatoes washed up from the cargo ship they could be considered a non native species and Poppy could be doing a good thing in taking carloads of sea salty potatoes thus eradicating an invading threat to natural surroundings. Eco Poppy is what we could call her.

Wow, what could be more romantic, than walking along the beach with your honey, and stopping to pick up the potatoes as they glisten in the sunset, I'm glad you spotted that patito,, so this means poppy was actually poaching potatoes!!....possibly

While these could easily be mistaken for stones, this shot was actually taken last January near Gulfport, Mississippi, shortly after a large Del Monte ship loaded with potatoes foundered in heavy weather and sank just offshore, loosing its entire cargo. People drove from as far away as North Carolina and East Texas to gather the free spuds which covered almost three miles of beach along US 90 between Gulfport and Pass Christian.

The above comment is for Fuzzy Blue One. I clicked 'reply to this' under Fuzzy's pic and the darn comment placed itself under Skip's pic. Where will this one go?

Guilty as charged. And today I poached a HUGE bunch of lily of the valley from the nearby woods. The whole house is filled with their perfume... Good thing you don't know where I live, otherwise I'd have the police at my door.

Thanks poppy, that sounds like fun, I'd like to make money for selling pebbles...it reminds me of that poem, she sells sea shells by the seashore. anyway I was thinking A Bout's might like this pic, you know he has this stones thing .. :)

Pebble poaching? Did you return them to their wild homes after performing strange painting experiments on them? NO! You sold them into captivity for the purpose of being some decoration on somebody's dusty nic-nac shelf (I'm just kidding)

You're on a roll again, Skip! - Not a beach for swimming, but definitely for pebble collecting. I used to take carloads of these pebbles/stones home, paint flowers on them and sell them as paperweights.
