I agree one hundred percent..in fact,I agree two hundred percent....same with girlie shots..I am a guy, and I actually enjoy a well-done girlie shot from time to time...can be a relief from snow-covered mountains reflected in lakes, etc etc...but when some knuckle-head posts thirty or forty or more of them , one after another, that's essentially a spam attack, and they deserve to be voted into oblivion...

Accidental reposting happens, but the posters to whom that happens have a very low duplicate record in any case, which means that it is easy to believe that is was a mistake, oversight, whatever. But when we have posters who MAINLY post duplicates (and I'm sure you all pretty much know which posters I am talking about), then it is NOT feasible that they are accidents. When I see that happening time and time again, why should I reward such a poster's pics with my positive votes? (I don't downvote, but I refuse to upvote.) He/she is deliberately pissing on those of us who at least attempt to find new material daily.

I have even made the mistake of reposting pics that I put up myself.

I didn't mean anything by what I said - just that we should not punish someone if they accidentally repost a picture by negatively voting or not voting if its a good picture. They can all be voted for - Many times its been a while since the pic was seen and has been forgotten that it was here - Nobody can remember every thing ever posted -So I'm pretty much agreeing with you.

Vote away, Fuzzy, that’s your right, of course. My comment was not about votes. The point here was that some posters have an incredibly high duplicate record which means that they do not care to see the dailies or even the most popular today list, or they cannot be bothered to do a simplest search, or they just take their pics from Pixdaus files. Also, you may have noticed that I have many times ‘defended’ a duplicate when the original upload has happened aeons ago and to most viewers the pic is new… and I upvote such pics myself but NOT if they are posted by someone who clearly ‘specializes’ in posting other posters’ pics, in which case it means that the poster is trolling. - What got your feathers ruffled about this one? ;-)

There are enough votes to go around for everyone! And there is always more where they came from! So I vote for all of them.

Yup - I saw that when I did my search under the photographer's name - Philippe Sainte-Laudy...before posting mine.
