...very nice, but I was hoping to get a book out of it! We could make oodles of money... "The Adventures of Bearnaise and Matilda, the Pixdaus Bears." ;-)

Bearnaise and Matilda got married. She went back to college ( at was tough choice between there and Baylor ) to get her teaching certificate and Bearnasie got a job with the Canadian Dept. of Wildlife instructing and counseling Polar Bears on how to adjust to more temperate climates. Of course, it means that they can't be together as much as they'd like, but Bearnaise is making a ton of money and saving most of it so someday soon they'll ne able to fullfill their dreams of building and running a commercial salmon farm somewhere in the PNW.

Phew! Thanks for the support! ;-) What happened to Bearnaise and Matilda? I heard they were about to raid some beehives...

Since you asked...I find no aesthetic merit whatsoever in this photo.
2008-08-27 12:14:32 doesn't add to the beauty, it adds to the interest; gives you a smile, perhaps. I am still searching for the beauty in it. ;-)

How does the information on the sign relate to the beauty of the photo?

It would be funny if it were a road sign because then one would not know which way to go... As it is, Chambourcin is a "French-American interspecific hybrid grape variety" and thus the photo is really just providing that information but has little else of interest. For me, that is.
