Been There, Done That... I'm a former Missile Combat Crew Commander from Grand Forks North Dakota in the mid 1980's, and THAT is what the sky looks like after a MinuteMan III ( and most any other missile) after an evening launch from Vandenberg AFB in California. Really Awesome, ya gotta watch one if out west, or go to Kennedy and watch a Shuttle Launch... Very Cool !!
