The Great Ocean Road would be behind the photographer at the time this shot was taken. This rock formation is now known as London Arch. It used to be called London Bridge while it was connected to the mainland but the collapse of the main span in 1990 led to a change in name. At the time of the collapse two tourists were trapped on the outer part of the formation and had to be rescued by helicopter.
