Argument is moot. It's obviously huge, but just is striking is how gorgeous it is.Also appears to be "people friendly".

I did read it, but I know from experience that people will forget the "in terms of", especially when accompanied by a picture of moth larger (in wingspan) than they have ever seen before. .... oh, and by the way, that should be "doesn't read too WELL".

To clarify, it has the largest wing surface AREA. There are other moths of comparable wingspangs. The white witch moth (Thysania agrippina) has a wingspan of 12 inches.
