It's displayed, picture looker, because people on pixdaus would get bored if we just posted pretty photos. Humans need to communicate with each other. Sometimes, the conversations get pretty wild, but that's ok - it's humans exercising freedom of speech, which is denied in so many countries. Use it or loose it ;-)

This is not a photo or picture. Just text. Why is it displayed

2009-01-25 08:52:53
I survived too....

when or where did i say that i hate him? i diss him and his politics - that does not necessarily mean that i hate him. "...that people throughout history have done things that were pretty terrible, all the while completetly convinced that they were doing the 'right thing'" so what? i'm pretty sure that adolf hitler and his gang were convinced that they were doing the right thing. does that clear their names, make them better people? i don't hope so! "I believe George was listening to his heart..." and i believe george was looking at his bank account.

If you're determined to hate him there's nothing I or anyone can say to change the way you feel..I don't know how old you rae..based on your comments I suspect you're fairly young..maybe you'll learn as you grow older that people throughout history have done things that were pretty terrible, all the while completetly convinced that they were doing the 'right thing'..I believe George was listening to his heart..it's just that his heart wasn't any more well informed that his head..

One more thing, patito... if you really believe Georgie Boy is a good-hearted man, you are not just laughably naive but just plain gullible. "...making all the important calls on foreign policy over the past eight years..." where or when did i say that? do you read my postings? i said: he had the last word in everything that happened, and nobody can deny that fact. if he was a good-hearted man, he would have listened to his heart and not to his false advisors! a good-hearted man would not give the go for an aggressive war against international law!

"It's useless to discuss with people like you" and "I don't have the time" are things people say when they run out of arguments and realize they don't have the ability to make their case in a rational, coherent manner. By the way, do you know who Molly Ivins is ?
2009-01-23 00:18:30
This all got moved to the "adult" section...some folks have a strange sense of humor.
2009-01-23 00:17:48
oh patito, it's so useless to discuss with people like you, and actually i don't have the time. so allow me to be short: george w. bush was the president, so he alone was responsible for all things that happened under his sad regime. it's so easy to blame others and say that he was misled. he had the last word in everything that happened, and nobody can deny that fact. if you think that cheny or rove or rumsfeld or rice etc. are bastards - i agree. but that does not make bush a "decent, good-hearted man"! if he was, we had seen 8 better years.

Here's the deal, Sonny..I'm a Texan, and I've followed Texas politics all my life and George's political career all his life...I even met him one time years ago when he was governor and had a little conversation with him..and I know other people who've known him well and personally for years..George is basically a naive and intellectually shallow person, not given to introspection or self-examination, and not particularly interested in ideas ..he's the not-too-bright son of a wealthy and powerful family who was taken in and manipulated by powerful interests in the Republican party for their own benefit... if you're looking for someone evil to hate there are plenty of folks more deserving of it than poor old George.. the Late, Great Molly Ivins, who probably knew more about Texas politics than any other person on earth when she was alive and writing, and who knew George all his life (they even went to high school together ), and who was one of his harshest critics... even she once said of him "he's not stupid, and he's not mean." Now I understand , Sonny, that it's good to have a villian toward whom we can direct our wrath...if you need someone like that try Dick 'Dick' Cheney, or maybe Carl Rove..now there are a couple of truly evil bastards. And by the way, if you don't know who Molly Ivins is ( or was ) you're not in much of a position to call anyone naive.

A typical sonny750 statement... You only can say such a stupid thing, because you didn't understand what patito is talking about! Meanwhile your stupidity is legendary!!

Haha... Either you don't click on the name to see that I am not the troll, or it is a new funny game to call ME the troll! (That would be VERY clever!) ;-) If the comment was written by the troll it would sound like this: "(Bush) mental patients are. Bush = dishonest. Thank." :-)

You come on pixdaus each day and use your foul mouth language telling people off for repitive pics like a two year old then you want us to take your political jibberish serious NOT !!
2009-01-22 08:50:44
"I'm not a Bush Hater..I think he's basically a decent, good hearted man, ..." hahaha... if there was a price on pixdaus for the most naive statement - you'd win it!

I think that Bush junior also wanted to show daddy how things should have been done in the first place. My opinion is that Cheney and Rumfeld were actually evil, with some help with Rice. Bushie was simply not bright enough to know the difference between good and bad advice. He was their puppet.

Whether or not we should have gone into Iraq is a moot point...but what we do know is that George and the rest of the crew who planned and carried it off ignored the advice of the senior military people, especially senior army people like Colin Powell and General Shenseki, guys who had actually been in a war and knew something about ground combat..they and a good many others warned against going in without enough troops to control the country...but the Bush bunch, only two of whom had ever been in the miitary and none of whom had ever actually been in a war, ignored that advice..they even ignored George's father's advice...back after the first gulf war the right wingers were giving the first President Bush a hard time for not chasing the Iraqis back into Bagdad and finishing 'em off...Bush the 1st ( who was fortunate enough to have been advised by Brent Scowcroft ) pointed out that while we had enough troops to do that we didn't have enough troops to control the country, and he predicted that had we done so we'd have faced a situation very like the one that erupted after the fall of Sadam's army..so several thousand brave young Americans died, and tens of thousands more were maimed and crippled because poor ol' George didn't have the sense to tell good advice form bad advice, and let himself be manipulated by a bunch of draft dodgers like Cheny and Rove and Wolfowitz. I'm not a Bush Hater..I think he's basically a decent, good hearted man, but he let himself be played for a chump and will go down as the worst president in our history. I feel sorry for him and his family.

the vast majority of the earth's population will be happy that the presidency of this power-mad cowboy is over. and we all can be glad that nothing worse has happened during his time in office. so you can call most people weak persons - but who cares?
2009-01-22 03:37:07
Yeah! And THOUSANDS OVER THOUSANDS of your "liberated" and (now) democratic Iraqis did not survived Bush's presidency! (Including the people who were killed YESTERDAY in Iraq!) Thank you, Mr. "War-Criminal" Bush!!!!! btw.: and over 4.000 US-Soldiers don't know who is now president of the USA, because they were KILLED in Iraq!!!
2009-01-22 02:10:16
To have worried about whether or not you would survive during the last eight years shows that you sir are a very weak person.
2009-01-22 01:54:51
Yea shame on us for overthrowing a dictator in Iraq and giving the people the chance at free elections where 250+ candidates are on the ballot instead of one bloodthirsty tyrant who killed an average of 25,000 of his own countrymen every year according to the UN. Everyone knows all you have to do is chant and bad guys give up their rule and allow democratic elections. OHM!!!
2009-01-21 08:44:47
Never a truer word spoken!
2009-01-21 07:47:28
Amen!
