Well quest - you can always take a cruise to Alaska via Vancouver. No one I know who has taken a Alaskan Cruise, has regretted it.

I would guess that you are from Haines, on the inside passage and near Juneau, a place that I think is a lot more famous for eagles than Homer. By the way, I think that this photo at Ketchikan is very nice! Is this your own photo Glacierman? Alaska is certainly very beautiful and has been one of my favorite places to visit for many years.

Are you in or near Homer, Gman? Reason I ask is because I've heard that place is famous for eagles.
