Funny, I rescued a car-stricken cat from a puddle, paid the vet bills to fix her broken jaw and other injuries and when the swelling on her face went down enough I noticed how pretty her green eyes were and named her Emma.

Why delete it Dexxx? It is reality in a metropolis, probably America. The tiny kitten, bloodied perhaps by a motor accident, walking miserably along the pavement, and a well-healed office worker disinterestedly strides firmly by. What better example of human nature is there in the 21st century!

I have to wonder what the photographer did after taking the shot... did he/she rescue the kitten or...?

"but perhaps he was just born"
Kittens are born with eyes closed, and stay that way for a week or so...and can't walk, and are not any bigger than your hand (tail included). Idiot.

yeah, just wondering what happend after the photo, anyway? that person isnt running, cos the thing of runnig is to have stage of flying(when ur both feets are over the ground for couple of msec, btw). that guy is in big hurry i suppose, but anyway, people in the manhattan as well as in london, tokyo and other big cities dont really care each other, and animals as well. thats my private opinion. if it were anyware else than in manhattan or the other city it would have been probably taken by someone after few minutes. hoping it have been like that after the photo...

Actually this picture is an older one. It was taken in Russia. As for the kitten, I never could find out who took the picture or what happened to the kitten.
