These animals are trained, not by using "electric cattle prods and whips", but by time, patience, rewards for good behaviour, and an experienced trainer. That horse isn't scared: it's TRAINED to hold a lion on it's back. As an experienced animal trainer, I should know. Nobody has anything to complain about, and absolutely no reason to pity the horse or the lion in this picture. Jeez.
