my problem is, i didn't think bats would hunt for a big frog like that--i thought they went for the mosquitoes and such. but okay...cool pic.

The title is very ironic. The whole POINT about how bats hunt is that they do it with sound (echolocation). Having said that, the frog does not posses the ability to hear sounds at the frequency used by bats (some moths, mantids, and other insects commonly preyed upon by bats ARE able to hear them though). To the frog, the bat WOULD be silent.

There was a scene like this at the end of Cloverfield. Come to think of it, there was a scene like this in the middle of Jurassic Park.
