Photographer David Slater was photographing monkeys (macaques) in an Indonesian National Park when one of the monkeys took his camera away. When David finally retrieved the camera, he found the monkey had taken a number of images, including some that were quite presentable.
This image was a self-portrait taken by the monkey, holding the camera at arms length and looking at his image reflected in the lens. The only thing that David has done to the image is to rotate and crop it.
Over the next couple of days, I will post a few more images that were taken by the monkey.
