In 1994, she was being towed to India to be broken up. She parted her towline and drifted aground at Sorvaer, Norway.

This is actually a fairly modern ship...built in the '50's, active theorugh the '80's...it would have had radar and other modern navigational aides...I'd guess that thing that looks like a dish antenna is radar...
