Korben Dallas: An obvious tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, vegetatian, liberal anarchist, WOW-playing, college student in his eighth year in college in his pursuit of a BA in Sociology, who still lives in his mother's basement at 45.

LOL. Isn't it obvious? With the amoint of money assigned every year for US military spending, they _have_ to use the money somehow and, preferrably, claim that there wasn't enough. Otherwise, next year they'll get less. So, understandably, they are trying to burn as much money as possible at every opportynity. Like enforcing useless no-fly zones using "stealth" fighters over US territory. Like buying $100k toilet seats. Not even mentionig the fact that the entire "stealth" technology nothing more than just another money burning scheme.

Should be fairly obvious. Can't have every puddle jumper in the surrounding area fighting over photo ops can we? Besides it's a huge investment worthy of protection by the military so we may as well project the power simply as a deterrent if nothing else.

This looks like the Cape with it's multiple launch sites. There is always a no-fly zone on the day of a launch, but I had no idea they were enforcing the no-fly so seriously.
