The name of the place is Capela do Senhor da Pedra (Chapel of the Lord of the Stone/rock). It's located in Miramar, 3 km from Oporto, in Portugal. The exact location in Google Earth is:
LAT: 41° 4'7.42"N
LONG: 8°39'31.89"O
Despite being a christian chapel, and perhaps because it is a bit isolated from the other houses around, this chapel is also the place where many people perform pagan rituals, such as witchcraft, etc. Or maybe christian inspired pagan rituals (similar to Brazil's "candomble", or voodoo).
So, it is not unusual to find strange items around the chapel (plates with fruits, candles, small fabric bags, etc). Some beer bottles as well :).
By the way, the beaches around are great, but the water is dead cold!
