Thanks, Just Sayin, I can say it now! Mele Kalikimaka was the first thing in Hawaiian I learned, and now this... I am going to make a grass skirt and do the hula in the garden. ;-)

First, I think that Kanaka missed the last 'a' in the name. It's not so hard to pronounce the word after you practice it a little: You say "humu" twice (the u is long but without the 'y' sound, as you would say the vowel sound in the word 'who'), then you say "nuku" twice, then "apu," (the 'a' is short, and pronounced the same way you would say "ahh" at a medical exam) then "ah-ah." "Humu-humu-nuku-nuku-apu-a-a." The Picasso trigger fish is the "State Fish" of Hawai'i.

I tried to say the name and got my tongue into a whopper of a twist! Thanks for the info, Kanaka!

Yawn. That post makes it look like I would actually waste time trying to track down a troll. I bet you'll neg vote it so that it appears to be a legitimate message from me as well...

I found the trolls homepage, if anyone is interested. It does a lot to explain why they are so messed up and I think it will help us get rid of them. It looks like there is a way to report them.
