LOL Yeah. I figured if it's worth saying once, it's worth babbling it a second time.

Yikes...this breakfast has just gone up in price for me!! The Canadian $ has taken a tumble due to conerns the U.S. economy might fall both into a recession and the possibility that Europe's debt crisis might spread to large economies. When the . elephant beside us (the U.S.) sneezes, the Canadian mouse gets pneumonia. So, the fear is the eurozone debt crisis and the U.S. economic recovery.

Patito by any of his hundred other names still smells as rancid. It is not so much that Patito is annoying. It's that he's a complete bore.

I don't believe believe it gives him the greatest pleasure and satisfaction to annoy everyone, just the mopes and arrogant pinheads who think their own aesthetic standards should be EVERYONE'S aesthetic standards. Like you, for instance.

The definition of a troll is someone who spends his time trying to ruin a web site where others are interested in making meaningful contributions. Look in the mirror, Patito.

The $7.81 on the bill includes the tip, but I forgot the name for it. Waiters/waitresses in Paris complained to the government that the bills should include a 15% (or maybe 20%...can't remember exactly) tip. So, it came to pass. Unfortunately, most tourists outside of France don't know that, so they pay the tip again. But, I suspect most European tourists know that. Now, many Parisian waiters are making no effort to be polite because they are guaranteed a tip. Today, this meal woud cost a Canadian about $10.86. The Canadian dollor is stronger than the American dollar these days. A couple of days ago, I bought $500 US, and paid $491 CAN. The US 23 trillion dollar debt is having a great impact on the stock market and the value of its greenback. History was made when the US almost defaulted on their loan. You Americans are going to have to stop lending money to other countries, get out of Iraq and Afghanistan, stop bailing out Wall St, etc.

..does that check say 7.80 euros ? yipes ! that's about 11 bucks US...enough to buy you a cup of coffee and a glass of juice PLUS a couple of eggs, bacon or ham or sausage, grits or hashbrowns, and toast, biscuits, or pancakes almost anywhere in the States....except maybe NYC or San Fran...

Ah ! cette fois-ci cela ressemble bien à un petit-déjeuner français ! Baguette-croissant, café au lait, jus d'orange ... ( Les escargots : JAMAIS au petit-déjeuner ! )
