This house is on East de Vargas Street, across the alley from the San Miguel Mission Church, and was built in 1610, the same year construction of the church began, and the same year the Governor's Palace was built. It should be noted, however, that these "oldest" buildings refer to Spanish Colonial structures, and that there are dwellings in Taos Pueblo, and perhaps in other pueblos, that may have been more or less continually occupied for perhaps as long as a thousand years.

I'm really interested how old is that house. Is that picture of Palace of the Governors, Oldest seat of colonial government (Spanish)?
