The church in Cologne remained intact because the allied bombers were told not to destroy the church. The bomb sights were accurate enough to do that. Had nothing to do with divine intervention.

My grand uncle died at 21 in this 'myth' of yours. Retards like you are a total waste of oxygen on this planet. Why don't you just fuck off and die?

No, it's Napels. The church was stolen by the Germans in december 1944.

The large building/hall on the left is the railroad station.

Yep, cologne. Note: In the back the destroyed bridge over the Rhine river. In besides: Naples wasn't bombed that much. PS: I know I will be voted down because of this, but even when all buildings are destroyed, Gods house is still standing, even after the "carpet bombings"; who just said there was no God? PPS: Don't vote me down, its my opinion, and everybodies opinion should be immideately readable for all, except if it is contrary to fact; and in fact, you can say it was luck or something else that prevented the church to be bombed, but you cannot judge my assumption.

To be fair, carpet bombing was the way everyone did things at the time; they didn't have precision weapons like we do now. I hate war and mistakes were made, but even I must accept that when a nation is making a blatantly obvious attempt to conquer Europe, you can't just stand around picking daisies. It is a beautiful depiction of what we must strive to avoid in the future, and an important thing to remember.

The wonderful world of allied Warcrimes.

this is definetly cologne. the lower side of the left tower (seen as standing in front of the cathedral) was just bombed and repaired with bricks. one can see it on the picture. its slightly brighter than the rest. these bricks have been removed just about 5 years ago, after a long discussion... now its back to its original state... work is going on constantly because its made from very soft sandstone and we have too many fucking pidgeons whose crap just eats up the beautiful cathedral...

Philip - you are a moron. Take your nutty conspiracy theories elsewhere. You don't have even the barest grasp of history.

fuck all wars.

Yes, it is the famous Koln Cathedral. Interesting how the British 'started' bombing the innocent civilians during the war: A war crime and a crime against humanity! The British and Americans also fire-bombed Dresden, burning alive an estimated 500,000 innocent civilians. Dresden was 'the only' holocaust of WWII. The claimed Auschwitz holocaust was a myth conjured up by the Zionist thugs who engineered both WWI and WWII. The world has been brainwashed about both world wars. Just as the world has been brainwashed about 9/11.

this definetly is Cologne and its most likely shortly after the last big airraid in Cologne, 1944, when about 9.000 tons of bombs were being unloaded by British troops, destroying up to 76% of living quarters.

definitely Cologne in Germany

I agree, strange Naples... I think it's Cologne as written by comik book guy. Anyway the gothic church was not bombed, but every other building had not the same luck...

Questa città NON E' sicuramente Napoli. A Napoli non c'è una cattedrale gotica e nemmeno il fiume. Comunque la devastazione è terribile...

I think it's Cologne, Germany!!!
