No problem; we kept a pottie in each bedroom.

And your beer would freeze, your truck wouldn't move unless you plug it all night and your dawg would whimper. Better stay put.

Solved that problem years ago while camping and boating in cold weather...a five gallon white plastic bucket with a lid, some wood shavings or sawdust ( gerbil nesting material like they sell in pet stores is ideal )..fill the bucket about a fourth of the way with the wood shavings..do your business in the warmth of tent or cabin then cover with more wood shavings and close the lid...you can actually go two or three days before needing to dump the contents, and there is virtually no unpleasant odor...then, during the day when you're dressed and fortified with hot coffee and whiskey, go outside and dump the contents on the compost pile...works great..is 100% bio-degradable and good for the environment...simple, cheap, low tech, no moving parts to malfunction...amazing what you can learn here on pixdaus, huh ?

There's one thing you clearly have not considered, Patito: when it is -40 and you have to go to the outside loo!

Would love to live there.. a good bit colder than here on the Gulf Coast but probably safely above the storm surge line. Just don't think my wife's gonna go for it. She thinks Dallas is too far north for comfort.
