In the military the term 'wide-eyed' means frightened, scared, or even cowardly. For example, a sergeant might describe some of his green troops as having gone "wide-eyed" during their first fire-fight. It's also used that way in sports: a rookie lineman might be advised by the old hands not to let the opposing players see him go "wide-eyed" . I wonder what this "Wide-Eyed" troll is scared of ?
