Well, well, what do we have here? My Troll, ever vigilant, working 24 hrs a day & trying to rattle me. I've got news for you, Troll: I don't rattle easy. You appear to be frustrated 'cause you couldn't write your usual nasty tags onto my new pics, eh? There are about four thousand old ones you could be working on; that'll keep you busy for a while, don't you think? - ENVY be thy name.

I cant begin to imagine the impact SMiLE would have had if it had been released, and weather it would have made Sgt. Pepper a different/better still album, and had Brian have kept it together back then, what other masterpeices would he have created, the Brian Wilson version is fantastic, but, i cant help think how amazing the Beach Boys version would have been, Carl's vocals are spot on, everything just falls into place, i suppose, Brian's updated version of Fire is better (it'll be a cold day in hell before i call it Mrs. O'leary's Cow), it's also one of my favorite songs (if you would call it that), the Beach Boys version was in about 75% of completion when Brian gave up, people cant salvage much from these sessions because they are incomplete, also, because, no one can tell just what Brian was planning, i dont think the 2004 version is close to what Brian envisioned in 1966, he is 2 diffrent people from then, he also had Darian's help, technoligy is also much different now too, Brian's original plan was to record diffrent parts of diffrent songs in different places, with different instruments, it was an incredibly difficult, borderline impossible task back then, but now, with pro tools, it's a very simple (well neally) process, just making the 2 line up in time, and i think it's that which made the "SMiLE dream" impossible back then, the way Brian wanted it, it was too ambitious, maybe not helped by Mr. Love's nitpicking, but i'm sure he had his reasons, i mean, they had major sucess as a "surf" band, why would anyone want to draw back from that acclaim, to borderline obscurity, i dont think he was against it as he is made out to be though, i mean, he composed too, he could have easily have carried on composing surf songs, and then, they wouls have the best of both, but, he made some pretty nice ballads too. I'm sorry for the essay, the shoddy ending will loose me marks i'm sure i may have veered off topic a bit, but i agree, Wonderful is a great song
