The Moody Mansion is one of Galveston's Victorian treasures..but take a look at the bare trees..those are Live Oaks and they ordinarily have leaves on them all year round.. the salt water over-wash last September killed literally thousands of trees, among them many of the oldest and grandest Live Oaks, some over a hundred years old....
