PLEASE don't go...I know it's gotta be a lot of trouble to find the kind of high-quality photos your post, and how disgusting it must be to see them down-voted by the juvenile turd-brain mall-rats who swarm around here like gnats..But believe me, those of us who appreciate you REALLY REALLY REALLY do appreciate you...don't let the little creeps win..Stick by your Guns ! Never give up the Ship ! Fight to the Last Ditch ! Remember the Alamo !

Yes, there was certain entertainment value in Popolov and definitely more so in your 'battles'. I have wondered, too, what happened to Just Sayin and Fyi... We'll all go, one day. I am already experiencing itchy feet, myself. ;-)

Popolov's earliest incarnation here was as Philip or Phillip... I suspect he's been around lately as Flagstone..and yes, he did write grammatically and syntactically correct formal English..but it often had a slightly stilted quality to it that gave him away as probably not a native Anglophone, and especially so when he attempted to express himself in a vernacular or idiomatic form or style...I kind of miss the old guy...and what ever happend to Just Sayin'...and Buncha Sixes, the original FYI...intersting how entities appear here, take shape almost as if they had form and substance, then vanish into the virtual ether..

Popolov has not been here for quite a while, Kamaaina. As far as we know, he is British, and happens to write excellent English. Ask Patito, those two used to ‘cross swords’ all the time. And, by the way, London Bridge was sold in 1968. "When posting in a language not native to you, try to formulate correct grammar." For your information, there are quite a few of us foreigners here on Pixdaus who can write darn sight better English than most of you natives, at least if judged by the comments here. How about trying to ‘formulate correct grammar’ in my language? ;-)

Here's a thought popolov, when trying to make statements about history, don't display your obvious ignorance by your inability to use Google to find when in the "1950-60's" this event occurred. When posting in a language not native to you, try to formulate correct grammar. In other words, Stop displaying your Russian ignorance!

Like the ignorant American millionaire in the 1950-60's who bought the old dismantled London Bridge for a £1-million, and complained when he received the packages that it was not London Bridge. He was informed that it was indeed London Bridge that he bought! (Not Tower Bridge, which would have been a few pennies more!!!)

This is the Tower Bridge, not London Bridge.
