There was a town named Pahoehoe on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kilauea volcano erupted and lava oozed slowly through town burning everything in it's path. It's likely that this fountain eruption is taking place in the area that used to be the town. Also this eruption looks to me like it may produce more a'a lava (named onomatopoeically for the sound that native Hawaiian people made when they walked barefoot on the sharp and painful edges of the surface) than pahoehoe (lava which flows and cools with a smooth, foot-comfortable rounded surface), although there are areas of pahoehoe lava visible in the pic.

Just a note: "Pahoehoe" is the type of lava, not the place where this eruption is occurring.
