You have a right to your opinion, but some of us like to see pictures of different kinds, with some color and imagination. I thought the original pic by jujuba was great but I like this too, it's more like a painting, but it looks good. I agree that some pics may be overdone, but it depends on the subject and what your trying to achieve. about your last statement, I think it's up to the photographer if they want to mention it, but usually you can tell.

It's always nice to see someone admit to using photoshop to touch up their photo. Probably to 30-40% of photos posted here are touched up, maybe more. The most obvious is the over-saturation of color, usually the blues of water and sky or the greens of grass and leaves. The overuse actually degrades the picture. Small touch-ups are fine but should be documented.

Oh, so thatīs what it is! I thought those clouds were already there on the pic, but that you had used some trick to just highlight them more - now you tell me itīs all new, pretty good work, didn't even notice :-) And with the bricks of the mill being that color, it looks like an older photo, good job JS and thanks a bunch :D

I wanted to do something challenging. So I put clouds behind your windmill. Not something that can be done with just a few clicks of the mouse. :) It's also been tone mapped and filtered with Color Efex. :)
