The Millau is the world's tallest bridge. It rises 891 feet above the Tarn River valley for 1.6 mile, stretching through France's Massif Central mountains. The tallest suspension cable measures 1,222 feet - 53 feet taller than the Eiffel Tower.
It's considered a piece of art. The Millau was inaugered by then President Jacques Chirac on December 14, 2004.
