32mpg, but I'd expect with a modern 1.1 to 1.3 liter engine (e.g. from a Honda Jazz/Fit) it would be a LOT better.
The photo appears to be fake, but it's still cute and the car is real, just resized to be smaller. It's a comp of the scene without the car and the car parked there. The reflection of the "hobbit" word on the car doesn't have the 't' obscured by the foot of the gentleman.
