This IS an Emerald Toucanet! There are several species of toucanets, related to Toucans, but smaller. The Emerald Toucanet, A. prasinus, occurs from Mexico to Costa Rica. Most of the other toucanets occur further south but in the Americas.

I got the idea that this bird might be Toucan, from this picture (link below) that Poppy posted, so in a way, she has helped us to get an idea of what this bird could be...

It looks like a Toucan to me, but I'm not completely sure. The beak looks like a beak of a Toucan. Poppy is the one to truly identify this. We might have to wait until she gets back to do that... :(

Which bird is this? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to birds, but this looks almost not real..
