The photo was for the benefit of our Persian (Iranian) friends on Pixdaus. The info was for anyone interesting in knowing who he was. His real name was Khwāja Šamsu d-Dīn Muḥammad Hāfez-e Šīrāzī (Persian: خواجه شمس‌الدین محمد حافظ شیرازی), but he was known by his pen name as Hāfez. Apparently, he was a great lyric poet (info from Wikipedia) - a poet's poet.
