I think YOUR education is the answer.
2009-03-13 13:11:42
Just what exactly is a "homocide"? Are you advocating what I think you're advocating?
2009-01-06 12:40:55
murder, rape, robbery, are all illegal. what makes people think that making gun ownership illegal stop gun violence as well? it didn't work in the uk, and it didn't work in australia. take the guns away, they'll just find another weapon to take what they want.
2008-12-21 20:09:59
you're completely accurate in your statement. people are amazingly ignorant. it is safer only for criminals when guns control laws are implemented. if they take them away only criminals and government officials will have them; not safe, dangerous. it's amazing how many people are really this stupid. if everyone was armed at all times criminals wouldn't pull near as much of the stupid crap they do, they'd be shot.
2008-12-21 20:05:10
right oh; gun ignorance is a very dangerous thing. check out austrailia's stats when they tried out gun control; their crime raised up: armed robberies 44%, assaults 9.6%, homicides 6.2%, and in the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms went up 300%. it is safer only for criminals when guns control laws are implemented. think for yourselves and don't be stupid.

There are few things that amuse me as much as Americans carping on about their 'freedoms' as if they invented the idea. There are more rules and regulations here than any country I've ever been to. And plenty of people all to happy to enforce them. There are lots of good things about America but boorish idiots spouting garbage about stuff they know nothing about isn't one of them. Who has the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world? The Land of the Free. That's right! Over 6 times that of Europe, higher than Russia, and South Africa and China. Quit burying your head in the sand and get over yourselves America. You are no better nor worse than anyone else. Oh, and how old do you have to be to buy a beer here? Oh, that's right, twenty-fucking-one! Yeah freedom. But at least you can buy a gun! Jesus F...ing Christ!
2008-11-22 09:54:31
Guns don't kill people. True. Bullets, however, do kill people. We need bullet control! Chris Rock was right. Every bullet should cost $5000. Don't see anything in the Second Amendment about the right to own bullets?
2008-11-22 09:47:24
Arrant nonsesne!

"Also ignored is the fact that Europeans in particular spent many years, centuries, living under monarchies. This has caused serious differences in our societies, they're used to being sugject to the will of the government. It's bred into them, it's not bred into us. " What kind of idiot are you? Neither me, nor my parents or grandparents have ever been lived in a monarchy. Democracy was born in Greece (Europe) you fool. And there are many, many democracies in Europe, where we can live in greater freedom than you in your fascist US of A. (Germany, France, Spain, ...).

This is a repost to make it clear what I am commenting on. Well Lunney these are a few of the things that the Bush Administration admits they have been doing. Kidnapping people and sending them to foreign countries where they are tortured. Conducting illegal wiretaps of US citizens as well as foriegn nationals. Holding people including American citizens for years without ever telling them what they are presumed to have done. Using confessions tortured from people in legal proceedings. So I would say that the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments to the Constitution of the United States, commonly known as the Bill of Rights, are being violated on a continueing basis by the Bush administration.

why then stop on the guns? weapon is a weapon. nuke's for all. nuke's don't kill people. right?
2008-08-22 18:09:21
YOU ARE
2008-08-18 01:41:10
you're right. if someone gets extremely furious and angry at someone they'll most likely get into a terrible fight but if there is a gun around, i'm certain one of them will die. RETARD!
2008-08-11 12:44:06
The ease of acquiring guns in the US is only part of the problem. The US is overall, a very violent society. And I don't see that changing . . . well . . . ever. Violence is glorified everywhere. In fact, you are so in love with violence that you believed the blatant lies that your government told you about Afghanistan and Iraq, and now Iran so that you could glory in war. So now gas if $5 a gallon, you've borrowed $4.5 TRILLION in 7.5 years, and your debt will have doubled in 8 years. Your infrastructure is crumbling, your banks are failing, your "health care" is a joke, people are losing their homes and life savings. Why? So that you could glory in war . . . because you are a violent society. Are you happy with the deal you made?
2008-06-28 21:23:46
Since the introduction of guns??? The US was founded with guns. Think about it. The Native Americans didn't have guns, our ancestors brought them here. So I guess you're right.
2008-06-12 20:00:12
Well ,no response, because your rights haven't been lost, nor have they been restricted by the Bush administration. The dhimmicrat, left, however, have been assaulting our rights for years. Speech codes at leftist colleges, constant assaults on the 2nd amendment, attempts to squelch conservative radio programming, etc, etc ,etc. Your statement and position is a lie, and ,like so much of the liberal, marxist left is a fraud. You are just another lying, surrender monkey, coward.
2008-06-11 20:13:48
Well the people are starving, the econmomy is nonexistant, the government routinely brutalizes the poplace, and no free elections have been held since Mugabe came to power, so I think not so well for the citizens.
2008-06-11 20:10:12
Actually ,the crime rate fluctuates all of the time. Crime rates, but particularly violent crime rates, tend to increase in those communities that enact restrictive gun control laws. Hence communities like Detroit, Chicago, Los angeles, Washington,D.C. had high crime rates and have seen increases in those rates despite the imposition of gun control laws. No community, in the U.S. or anywhere else in the world, has seen reductions in crime after the imposition of gun control laws. A common meme of gun controllers is that Europe is safer because they have instituted gun control. But, never mentioned, is the fact that crime was low in these countries before the laws were passed. Also ignored is the fact that Europeans in particular spent many years, centuries, living under monarchies. This has caused serious differences in our societies, they're used to being sugject to the will of the government. It's bred into them, it's not bred into us. Of note should be the increase in violent crime in Europe despite the imposition of ever more draconian firearm control statutes. One need only look to the U.K. to see the disasterous effect of such stupidity. One last thing, since firearms have been apart of this country for over five centuries, do you suggest that violence was unheard of prior to that ? I'll give you yet another opportunity to see the truth.
2008-06-11 19:54:42
Guns, by themselves ,are indapable of doing anything. They are inanimate objects, like cutlery or garden implements. Citizens, armed citizens, prevent crimes and save lives every day. They prevent and save to the tune of approximately 1,000,000 instances each year. The Bush administration has no more control over the populace than any previous administration. Were the Bush administration to be as diabolical and overpowering ae you suggest, no one would be aware of any dissent. All of you would be jailed. I'll allow you one more attempt to defend your ridiculous assertions. Next please.
2008-06-11 19:47:08
Which rights have you lost?
2008-06-11 13:19:45
You guys can debate this forever, guns will never be completely banned in the US. I hate to be "this guy" but love it, leave it or STFU seriously. Try target shooting it's very fun (still not quite as zen inducing as archery though)
2008-06-11 13:05:36
have you ever held a gun? bans are never the answer, education is.
2008-06-11 08:21:56
Zimbabwe has gum control, and food control, vote control, car control, pecil contol, etc. How has that worked out for them ?
2008-06-11 08:18:57
Violent deaths, including homocide by firearms, have increased dramatically in the US since the introduction of guns.
2008-06-11 08:16:25
Where has a gun ever taken a life or reduced crime? Americans are subjects, subject to the whims of the Bush government, the exact opposite of a free people.
2008-06-11 01:58:47
Ive lived in America under 9 Presidents and if you think many of our rights haven't been lost under Bush, your a fool.
2008-06-11 00:53:15
Have you been harmed by a crime commited by a firearm armed perpetrater ? Or, more likely, is this gun hatred ,liberal fool, anti constitution hysteria?
2008-06-11 00:50:53
If you are living in America, you live more free than anywhere else. For all of the hysteria about "the Bush regime" your rights have not been constrained. You, for instance, haven't been sequestered for these posts. Your position is in fact a lie, care to try again ?
2008-06-10 22:19:53
Like in Bush's America?
2008-06-10 22:16:59
I'm a subject of the Bush regime. The Horror, the horror.
2008-06-10 19:57:38
Violent deaths, including homocide by firearms, have increased dramatically in the UK since the imposition of conficatory firearms laws. How effective is gun control again ? The gun control sheep would have you believe that crime should be nonexistant, until reality intrudes that is. Gun control has never reduced crime, never even prevented the rise in crime. It has, however, caused thousands of deaths.
2008-06-10 19:52:10
Zimbabwe has gun control, and food control, vote control etc. Hpw has that worked out for them ?
2008-06-10 19:47:48

Only fools and subjects give up their rights, which are you ?
2008-06-10 17:23:34

2008-06-10 13:49:22
Since the Us of A permits guns almost everywhere; you are building a society that solves many problems with guns when the words isn't enough. How stupid do you have to be not to understand that? If you walk through life blindfolded maybe you can miss it, but otherwise... And if you take a look at the statistics over people killed by guns, end compare it per capita throughout the rest of the world; ther is a clear answer. But ok, just stick your head in the sand and pretend as if there was no problem - that will help much... In the meantime you can walk around with the gun and think that you are a really coooool guy... Beacuse; if you have missed that one aswell - all to many people buy their gun just to be cool - not to use it in some important matter... Who's the stupid one?
2008-06-10 12:54:57
if everyone who is for gun erradiaction would actually hold a gun and get training on how to handling one they would chnage their minds. is like trying to cure an illness with the bible.
2008-06-10 11:03:35
Not standing up for gun control is cowardice.
2008-06-10 10:54:54
They forgot, American education made zooboot a stupid citizen.
2008-06-10 10:45:55
That's just wrong. There are not tens of thousands of casualties in the States due to guns. Please get your facts right.
2008-06-10 09:15:44
Peter, there is a discussion because the facts *are* clear, and if you research the results of permit laws, you'll find that even those who own no weapons benefit. Check out the crime stats in the UK after the gun confiscation. Check out the stats in Texas since the carry law was enacted. To subject private citizens to further restrictions on ownership is not the answer to criminality.
2008-06-10 07:56:48
Why is there even a discussion about gun control when the facts are absolutely clear? Ten thousands of casualties in the States, a few hundreds in European countries... The answer is the gun lobby and corrupt media. And also: Wake up, America! Get your Democracy back!
2008-06-10 06:00:11
Gun control is cowardice.
2008-06-10 03:15:36
"pencils miss spel words"
2008-06-10 03:15:17
The other day I got really upset. So I came to work with a crate of ice cream and a spoon...and went cubicale to cubical covering everyone. The horror!
2008-06-10 03:11:56
Way to generalize there; that sure makes you better than them.
2008-06-10 02:58:10
