Description:This species is a voracious carnivore. Range: western Atlantic Ocean - from southeastern Florida, east to the Bahamas, southeast through the entire Gulf of Mexico to Yucatan, Mexico. Size: maximum length of 32.4 cm (12.8 inches), mature males are bigger than females. Diet: small fishes such as Gobies, Sea Crustaceans (Shrimps and Crabs), Aquatic Annelids, and Sea Mollusks.
