It is really telling that you have to resort to such childish behavior to make a point. Is that the most effective method you could come up with to communicate your ideas? That's sad. Anyway, humans ARE apes and therefore my ancestors are apes. And yes, humans did evolve from other apes. If you don't believe that, then you are either ignorant of pretty much all of scientific knowledge or you are just plain stupid. Statistically speaking, the probability that evolution did NOT occur is so incredibly minuscule that it can be legitimately said that it is impossible. I'll just leave you with something Thomas Huxley said when he was asked from what side of his family he was related to "monkeys" (paraphrased)- I am not ashamed to have a monkey as my ancestor, but I would be ashamed to be connected to a man who uses his great gifts to obscure the truth.

Oi... because I just had a conversation with a friend about this, I thought I'd clarify: That should say "Child abuse. Teaching your children how not to think, to NOT question their beliefs, and how to be close minded is simply wrong." Apparently my friend thinks that you shouldn't teach your children to question their beliefs... O_o
